poem

you’re not afraid of flying are you?

the unfriendly wind is settling in

and you my dear do not have

the capacity to endure the harsh winds

and so, I urge you to spread your wings

delay until dawn falls

and no one will see you

fly,

fly,

fly,

until you bathe in warm sunlight

for the sadness will wither away by day

and will only last through the night

hold on till morning darling

for when the sun rises again

you will regain your strength

until the season changes once again

-growth happens in the dark
